Drive-over bunding, available from Spill Station Australia , is suitable for containing spills in warehouse and production areas.
A triangular open-cell foam is encased in a 900gsm coated PVC outer. This material compresses as vehicles go over the bunding and springs back to shape after the vehicle passes.
The ability to compress minimises spills that can happen from loaded forklifts with concrete "speed hump" style bunding.
Drive-over bunding is secured to the ground with an adhesive sealant with better chemical resistance and masonry anchors. It is reinforced with aluminium flat bar to ensure durability. Pieces can be joined together or cut to size.
This method of installation makes it easy to retrofit and can be driven for a long time. Drive-over bunding is used across both roller and pedestrian doorways.
Drive-over bunding is available in:
- 10m kits
- 5m kits
- 2m kits
- 90° corner pieces
Each kit comes with sealant, masonry anchors, adhesive, aluminium flat bar and step-by-step instructions.
