NSWEPA demands that Spill Pallets must be able to contain 110% volume of the largest container stored in the spill pallet. This requirement has in the past severely restricted the locations that a bunded pallet can be utilised. If a bunded pallet is used in an exterior location, the sump can fill with rainwater.
As well as having to deal with the contaminated liquid accumulating in the sump, the sump is reduced and the bunded pallet is no longer able to contain the required 110% of the largest container.
Spill Station Australia now manufactures a heavy-duty spill pallet cover that enables effective usage both outside and inside.
- The shock cord elastic means that it can be easily put on and removed but will remain in place in all weather conditions.
- Constructed from hardwearing PVC, the high frequency welded seams ensure no leakage, wicking or delamination.
- When used in conjunction with Spill Station Australia spill pallets, users have the ability to move fully loaded covered pallets in a safe and compliant way. This method of holding and transporting drums on-site also provides more storage flexibility, especially during busy periods when requirements outstrip interior storage capacities.
