Sperian Protection recently launched a new range of electrical insulating gloves designed to provide protection for those working with high voltage systems.
Using their extensive knowledge and experience in the field of latex treatment, Sperian has developed a range of high performance electrical gloves suitable for a range of applications, covering working voltages from up to 500 V to 36,000 V.
The Sperian range of electrical gloves includes Latex Insulating Gloves and Composite Gloves.
Electrosoft Latex Insulating Gloves
Made from a natural latex base, the Electrosoft Latex Insulating gloves offer excellent dielectric characteristics, and their thickness allows for a high degree of dexterity. Non-supported latex insulating gloves must be worn in conjunction with a suitable leather overglove to provide mechanical protection.
Electrosoft latex gloves are made of natural dielectric latex on a cotton interlock base, and offer wearers increased robustness and long life service under extreme conditions.
Electrosoft latex gloves’ ergonomic design combined with a lightly powdered interior provides additional softness, increased comfort and allows for the glove to be easily put on and taken off.
The full range of Electrosoft latex gloves is available from Class 00 to Class 4, for working voltages up to 360 000V.
Electrosoft Composite Gloves
Electrosoft composite glove offer a high level of dexterity and durability, and are available both lined and unlined. Electrosoft Composite gloves offer anatomical shaping for ease of movement. There is no need for an overglove.
Made from a natural latex base on an interlocked cotton base (lined), cotton flock, or non-flocked chlorinated interior with an outer layer of polychloroprene, Electrosoft composite gloves combine mechanical resistance and comfort with a high protection level.
Unlined composite gloves with cotton flock interior offer added comfort with their perspiration absorption properties, and effortless donning. Electrosoft composite gloves feature a patterned finish and offer excellent grip in damp or greasy conditions, making them ideal for outdoor jobs. Able to withstand up to 17 000V, the material structure of Electrosoft composite gloves offers short circuit electric arc protection.
