Sperian Protection , a leader in personal protective equipment, has once again set the industry standard with the introduction of the new Clearflow 2 Filter System.
Developed by Sperian Protection to replace the old Willson models this new range delivers high quality breathable air to a range of supplied air respirator systems, and comes with a wide range of features and benefits that make this model top of its class.
Featuring a new one-piece lightweight aluminium body design, the Clearflow 2 Filter System removes the need for the use of ‘filter bowls’ and auxiliary parts, while the new design shields fluid drains from damage by a moulded skirt – reducing the need for costly repairs and unexpected downtime.
The Clearflow 2 Filter System is a high flow system with an increased capacity of 1 600 l/min (depending on the user’s compression and limitations imposed by their compressed air system) when compared with the 1 420 l/min capacity of the Willson systems, and the dual QR outlets can be configured for use by two users wearing respirators and using spray guns.
Ideal for conditions where hazardous gases are present, the Clearflow 2 Filter System features a high efficiency coalescing filter, which removes bulk water and air from factory compressed air systems, filtering them down to 0.01 micron; as well removing oil vapour and odour to a max of 0.008 ppm w/w through the use of a high capacity absorber (carbon) filter.
For increased worker safety, and to eliminate the risk of bad value judgements, a pop up differential pressure indicator on the Clearflow 2 Filter System informs users when it is time to change filters, while an isolating valve ensures that airflow can be stopped locally for safe and efficient servicing.
Thanks to a ‘Cliplok’ modular design, the Clearflow 2 Filter System component parts are attached by a system of hand operated clips, and require no tools to configure, or reconfigure, the system.
All Clearflow 2 Filter Systems are ATEX ready, available in wall mounted and portable stand versions, and the systems contain no small or easily lost parts reducing the risk of problems and unexpected downtime.
