Sperian have launched Optrel Galaxy helmets, their new range of high impact welding helmets. The Optrel Galaxy helmet offers protection, comfort and versatility. This helmet has a passive flip-front feature and provides a complete safety solution for welders.

Features of the Optrel Galaxy helmets include:

Approval to high impact AS/NZS1337 for increased safety during grinding and welding applications
A passive shade 10 welding filter that can be easily flipped up
Eliminates the need for the welder to switch from a welding helmet to a visor when grinding
Large viewing area manufactured from clear polycarbonate
Can be easily converted to an auto darkening helmet by replacing the passive shade 10 Lens with an Optrel Nova auto darkening lens
Sleek and modern design for optimum protection of the head, ears and chest
Adjustable headgear for improved comfort, increased wearability and safety
