Miller by Sperian has developed a range of personal fall limiters that reduce the risk and liability of workers perhaps using incorrect fall arrest equipment, or using equipment incorrectly.
Workers will not need to “switch-out” equipment to maintain a safe fall distance with TurboLite personal fall limiters. As TurboLite eliminates the need for different fall protection equipment when fall clearance changes, workers are able to use the proper equipment at varying height levels at all times.
Miller TurboLite personal fall limiters can also be used in foot level and horizontal applications where an overhead anchorage point is unavailable.
The new Miller TurboLite personal fall limiter range is the advanced technological and cost effective alternative to traditional lanyards, basically making the shock-absorbing lanyards obsolete on the worksite. Compared to lanyards the Miller TurboLite range is competitively priced and cleverly engineered to feature different terminations, and offers a host of key product features.
Weighing less than 1.5kg and certified to support a user up to 140 kg, the TurboLite personal fall limiter range is built tough for durability and offers 1.8m of working capacity in a self-retracting lifeline, which attaches directly to the harness back D-ring.
Miller TurboLite personal fall limiters offer a high strength impact-resistant nylon housing and engineered HiTech Polyester/Vectran webbing for maximum abrasion resistance and durability. The webbing payout extends and retracts without interruption, decreasing the risk of lifelines being tangled. Additionally, each personal fall limiter features a built-in swivel that allows the units to rotate in multiple directions, preventing the webbing from twisting and binding inside the unit.
