The latest automatic docking stations from Sperian are designed to suit a wide range of Sperian gas detection units. Used by workers to detect the presence of toxic and combustible gases, gas detection units play an important part in mining, shipping, fire fighting, and in confined spaces.
In order to provide workers with accurate and reliable gas detection information, all gas detection units undergo regular bump tests and calibration to avoid deadly consequences. By using Sperian automated docks, all gas detection units automatically undergo bump tests when docked. For increased safety compliance, calibration is checked at each docking, the Sperian automated dock will fully calibrate the gas detection unit in about two minutes. By using a Sperian automatic dock employers can reduce cost by over 60%.
Sperian docks also automatically download detector and maintenance data for easy recordkeeping, and automatically check each detector for about 12 different performance functions. As a further safety measure, if a gas detection unit is not within its defined performance specifications, the dock will automatically fail the instrument.
Designed to be used in conjunction with Toxi single gas instruments, as well as the Multi-Pro and PhD6 lines of multi gas instruments, Sperian Protection automated docks are automated gas management system which will add value to the business.
The gas detection systems are compatible with Toxi and Toxi Pro, the IQ Express is an automated bump and calibration dock. The dock can perform a bump test in less than 20 seconds, and a calibration test in under a minute. If a bump test fails, the IQ Express automatically proceeds with a full calibration. The IQ Express can be connected to a PC using a USB port, and can also be fitted with a mounting bracket accessory option which holds four docking stations and a cylinder of gas.
An easy dock to use on the market, the Biosystems IQ6 docking station, is fully automated to perform bump tests and calibration if necessary. The system is compatible with Biosystems PhD6 gas detectors, and common PhD6 configurations can be processed in under a minute reducing labour and gas calibration costs. The Biosystems IQ6 docking station can be configured as a stand alone station or it can be connected to a PC through USB or Ethernet for more advanced testing. To ensure recordkeeping, the Biosystems IQ6 docking station is able to store up to 1500 of the latest records.
Compatible with the Biosystems Multi Pro range of gas detection units, Multi Pro IQ Express docking station is fully automated and features automatic instrument identification. In addition to performing bump tests and calibration, the dock also holds up to 1500 of the latest records, and features a LCD display which shows the status of the instrument being docked. The dock also performs a battery, audible and vibrating alarm test as an added safety feature.
