Wheelchair access ramps

These ramps are ideal as a wheel chair or disabled access ramp, loading ramp and even as an elevated walkway. Both lightweight and portable, the access ramps are built with a unique foldable feature that can be deployed in seconds.
LIGHT WEIGHT. Components are made from a unique combination of advanced composite materials including Carbon Fibre. The resulting ramps are extremely strong yet low weight.
PORTABLE. The ramps are able to be carried as a single folded unit. This enables the ramp to accompany its owner wherever they go. Access into many shops, public buildings and homes that are normally inaccessible is made possible.
COMPACT. The multi-panel design coupled with the patented hinge system allows DECPAC ramps to be quickly folded into a small compact unit for easy storage in any vehicle or home environment.
NO ASSEMBLY. Ramps are supplied ex-factory in a complete inter-connected format, with no assembling required. Unfolds / folds instantly and is immediately ready for use.
FLEXIBLE. All models exhibit a high degree of capability to conform to differing surface angles. e.g. from a level building floor, to an inclined side walk. This result in greater user stability through the flexibility created by DECPAC's multi panel design and patented hinge system.
NOISE LEVELS. Because of their design construction and components, DECPAC ramps do not produce any intrusive noise while in use, placement or transportation. The patented hinge system ensures no wearing metallic parts to create rattles and sharp edges.
DECPAC ranges consist of 30 standard models which creates a wide selection to overcome access difficulties in myriad of situations. This range encompasses lengths from as short as 700mm (2' 6") to 4 metres (13" 1"). All access ramps over 2 metres (6' 6") in length are manufactured using graphite (carbon) fibres as the structural, load bearing material. However Spacepac also offer the model option of using graphite (carbon) fibre in the range of 900mm (3' ) up to 2 metres (6' 6") for those who desire extra low handling weight while retaining the same extra characteristics.
EBL (Edge Barrier Limiter) Ramp (4 Panels) Carbon
The E.B.L. has the added security of edge barriers. Edge barriers are available in different lengths to provide solutions to obstacles from 225mm / 9" to 1000mm / 39.25" in height.
The E.B.L. was developed to comply with public access regulations. It is used extensively on all public transport systems and as well as provide access in public buildings where permanent ramps are impractical.
Senior Ramp (4 Panels) Carbon
The Senior range offers you a flexible variety of ramps to cope with obstacles from 225mm / 9" to 1000mm / 39.25" in height. As with the Personal and Multipurpose models, it is remarkably lightweight and strong in use.
Both the EBL and Senior range are manufactured in a variety of lengths from 0.9m to 4.0m.
Personal Ramp (3 Panels)
The Personal is lightweight (4kgs / 8.8lbs) and is designed to allow easy access in domestic situations, climbing kerbs, as well as coping with similar obstacles in the workplace.
The simple concertina action enables it to be deployed in seconds. The Personal is covered with Grip Tape to provide a non-slip surface and for added safety, it is fitted with pads at the top and base for all weather conditions. It is also clearly marked to identify the head of the ramp that has to sit on the step. The standard Personal ramp weighs 4.0kg while the carbon Personal ramp weighs 3.5kg. Both models are 700mm in length and are able to overcome obstacles up to 175mm in height.
Multipurpose Ramp (3 Panels)
The Multipurpose ramp is a longer, wider variant to the Personal that offers a wider scope of use in domestic, commercial and travel environments.
Similar to the Personal, the Multipurpose has a simple concertina action, enabling it to be deployed in seconds. It is covered with Grip Tape to provide a non-slip surface and for added safety, it is fitted with pads at the top and base for all weather conditions. It is also clearly marked to identify the head of the ramp that has to sit on the step. The standard Multipurpose ramp weighs 5.0kg while the carbon Multipurpose ramp weighs 4.5kg. Both models are 870mm in length and are able to overcome obstacles up to 225mm in height.
Optional Carry Bag for the Personal and Multipurpose ramps so it can be attached to the back of the wheelchair for hassle-free instant remote access. Carrier bag can fit easily into the boot of a car for complete mobility.
All models have a safe working load of 300kgs (660lbs).
