Waterproofing and water sealing specialists, Sovereign Hydroseal , now have an exciting remote joint replacement technology available called NOH3O, that is used for joint and crack repairs where access is by means of drilled holes into the cavernous abutment areas.
NOH3O remote joint replacement technology was developed jointly by Sovereign Hydroseals North American and West Australian research teams during bulkhead sealing trials in the USA. This is a dual component system that sees polymer and urethane react together, even in the presence of water, to forms a mechanical seal that is created whilst pressure grouted into a failed joint or cavernous area.
Although tough, the NOH3O joint repair material is flexible enought to form an impermeable water barrier with impressive adhesion qualities. This remote joint replacement technology has been put through vigorous high pressure trials in excess of 5000 P.S.I. with optimal results.
NOH3O is ideal for use in the mining industry to stop unwanted water getting into hard rock conditions, and has also achieved great results in halite / concrete interface sealing applications, even when salt water is presnt.
Other crack and joint repair applications suitable for NOH3O remote joint replacement technology include:
- lift wells
- water plugs
- pipe entries
- drainage systems
- manholes and pits
- soak wells
- underground faults
- dam walls; and
