SonicWALL continues to expand its Australian and New Zealand office with the appointment of three new members to its management team.
Rob Blanco joins SonicWALL in the role of enterprise sales manager, Australia and New Zealand, after previously spending seven years at McAfee.
Blanco will be responsible for building a sustainable business in Australia and New Zealand with tactical and strategic initiatives.
Blanco’s career in the IT industry spans 20 years, in which he has initiated and managed global accounts from Australia. Blanco is assisted by Enterprise Sales Engineer, Peter Watson, and is based in Melbourne.
Shane Lilley, also based in Melbourne, has moved into the channel manager role for Australia and New Zealand, after previously holding the position of Systems Engineer for four years.
Chris Barton, regional manager, Australia and New Zealand, SonicWALL said about Lilley, “Shane’s promotion to Channel Manager is just reward for his outstanding contribution to our partners in recent years.”
Lilley will be joined by Dean Redman, based in Sydney, who has also been appointed as Channel Manager, Australia and New Zealand.
Lilley and Redman will develop and manage SonicWALL’s channel and partner programs, and partner solution education. Lilley and Redman are assisted by Ian Curnow, sales engineer.
“SonicWALL has recorded a significant growth in Australia and New Zealand in the small, mid-sized and large enterprise space. Being a pure channel vendor we want to further build on the success by boosting partner growth and profitability through our expanded channel team”, said Barton.
“Since the acquisition of Aventail and the launch of the SonicWALL E Class product offerings last year, SonicWALL has successfully moved into the mid-sized and large enterprise space and that is where the newly created position of Enterprise Sales Manager comes to play. We look forward to growing SonicWALL even further with this new and energised team.”
