Solid Dynamics is pleased to provide a White Card Course, an industry training course that covers the nationally recognised unit of competency - CPCCOHS1001A Work Safely in the Construction Industry.
This White Card Course meets the general OH&S induction requirements to safely carry out work in the construction industry, and is now a requirement of the NSW OH&S regulation and supported by the National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work (ASCC 2006).
The White Card industry training course provides participants with the required basic OH&S knowledge prior to undertaking designated work tasks within any of the construction industry sectors.
Content of the White Card Course includes:
- OH&S legislative requirements
- construction hazards and control measures
- OH&S communication and reporting processes; and
- OH&S incident response procedures.
Each participant should also come out aware of the variety of communication and reporting processes and incident response procedures, such as first aid, emergency evacuation and types of emergency equipment.
All participants who successfully complete the White Card construction industry training course will be issued with a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment: CPCCOHS1001A Work Safely in the Construction Industry. They will also receive a WorkCover NSW issued Statement of Training certificate at the end of the training session.
Participants must be 14 years or older to complete the White Card construction industry training course, and on the training day produce 100 points of ID as required by WorkCover NSW.
The course duration is approximately 8 hours and is conducted over one day.
