THE new generation side-loading case packer from bedo Verpackungstechnik, represented by Solari Engineering , features automatic adjustment of the case transport chains, motorised flap folding, driven case magazine, and spindle adjustments for the case magazine, case width and flap folders.
Pneumatic elements have all but been eliminated in favour of servomotors.
The case packer is centrally operated using a PLC or industrial PC with Windows-based operating system and full IT access. The machine's modular design makes it possible to run RSC cases, wrap-around cases, trays or trays with lids in the one machine.
A prototype of the new 62 series case packer was presented at Interpack 2002 in Dusseldorf and clearly demonstrated bedo's expertise in sophisticated end-of-line packaging equipment.
The new case packer is based on an extreme module basis system. For manufacturing, simply select the frame version required, 61 series 2 station or 62 series 3 station.
Other details such as the running direction, case type and the modules for product handling are completed to customer requirements.
