SYDNEY-based packaging machinery manufacturer Solari Engineering has added a new case erector to the range of machines currently marketed by the company.
The VA-920 case erector will be Solari's new 'entry level' machine and is aimed at the up to 15 cases per minute market with Solari's successful VA 976 and VA 975 case erectors will now concentrate on the 15 to 35 case per minute market.
The '920' has some nice features for an 'entry level' machine. It can handle a wide range of case sizes; the machine features 'touch panel' controls with diagnostics; and the 920's simple construction allows it to be manufactured in both mild steel or stainless steel.
The first VA-920 case erector, in full stainless steel construction, was delivered in December with a second machine forming part of a case packing system is due for export in February.
Solari is confident the VA-920 case erector's innovative design and standard features will be as well received by the market as the company's other products.
