ZigBee modules and development tools from Soanar
Soanar has announced the signing of a distribution agreement with MeshNetics, a provider of ZigBee modules and embedded software for OEMs and system integrators.
Soanar will distribute MeshNetics’ ZigBee modules and development tools, and serve as a technical representative for the company in Australia and New Zealand.
MeshNetics is a creator of easy-to-use ZigBee modules and networking software. The unique combination of hardware, software and technical support from a single source helps achieving faster time to market and significant cost savings for OEMs and system integrators.
Additionally, MeshNetics’ skilled and experienced engineering force, along with the system integration and design partners can help creating and developing a custom solution for a complex project.
MeshNetics products are used to create reliable, self-healing wireless networks that enable solutions in building automation, energy efficiency, HVAC, AMR, predictive maintenance, asset tracking, and other application areas.
MeshNetics ZigBee modules are good in important characteristics as operating range, low power consumption and form factor. ZigBit Amp module has set the record by achieving 2 ½ miles of line-of-sight range, while consuming very low power and occupying less than a square inch of space.

MeshNetics’ ZigBit modules and Development Kits are available from all Soanar’s sales offices. The unamplified ZigBit modules are available with two antenna options; dual-chip antenna and balanced RF output for use with PCB or an external antenna.
There are two versions of the amplified ZigBit Amp modules – one with the U.FL connector and one with the unbalanced RF output. All ZigBit modules come bundled with ZigBee PRO networking stack firmware that enables the module-based wireless sensor devices to form self-healing, self-organizing mesh networks.
A set of AT-commands is also provided. MeshNetics’ Development Kits include development boards, software, accessories, documentation and technical support options.
