Soanar and WIMA announce Australia and New Zealand partnership agreement

Soanar, one of Australia’s locally owned distributors, and WIMA, have announced a partnership agreement covering Australia and New Zealand. This agreement involves the distribution of all WIMA products.

WIMA have a long tradition in the field of passive electronic components. Founded in 1948, WIMA established themselves as ‘specialists in capacitor production’ specialising in plastic film, paper and super capacitors. Continual technical progress and expansion have made WIMA a suitable choice for high-quality film capacitors.

Wolfgang Westermann, President of WIMA stated that WIMA look forward to working with Soanar in order to broaden their capacitor products reach and allow greater penetration into the key target markets. He said that Soanar possesses the technical design solutions and relevant industry experience necessary to ensure optimal service and support for WIMA’s customers.

Neil Walker, CEO of Soanar, added that Soanar are happy about this partnership with WIMA. Walker has also commented that WIMA’s comprehensive range perfectly compliments Soanar’s existing passive component lineup and further strengthens the diversity of quality devices.

Osram Opto Semiconductors have launched two new MultiLEDs for different LED video displays, which are available from Soanar. The new MultiLED in the jet black package has been developed specially for high-resolution displays.

The new generation of Ceramos and Oslux LED flash products from Osram Opto Semiconductors, distributed by Soanar, are twice as bright as their predecessors. The brightest LED without a lens for flash photography is the Ceramos.

Harting’s crimp version HC 350 high voltage contacts available from Soanar (2-Dec-2008)
HARTING, distributed in Australia and New Zealand by Soanar - Electronic Component & Supply Chain Solutions, have extended the Han Connector product range, the HC 350 contact, which comes with a rating up to 350 Amps, 2Kv and 4Kv with an adaptor.
