Rolec GmbH, represented in Australia and New Zealand by Soanar , have announced an increased range of sizes and options for their Rolec aluCASE series of heavy duty die-cast electronics enclosures. The range has now been expanded by the addition of eight new sizes and two new versions with polycarbonate lids, resulting in a total of 24 available sizes.
Customers can choose between dimensions ranging from 75mm x 50mm x 33mm to 330mm x 200mm x 120mm, with ingress protection rated up to IP 67 as standard. Rolec aluCASE electronics enclosures are available with ingress protection up to IP 69K on request.
Rolec aluCASE electronics enclosures are powder coated Grey RAL7040 and special colours are available on request. Mounting points in top and bottom parts can ensure the secure fixing of built-in components. The lid is secured by stainless steel captive screws and has a 1.7mm recessed area for membrane keypads, front panels or labels. Integrated hinges provide strain relief for wiring between the enclosure’s top and bottom parts.
The enclosure can be installed after closing, thus preventing unnecessary access to the internal electronics. Clip-on design covers in aluminium or plastic conceal the fixing and mounting technique. Rolec also offer custom modifications as per customers’ requirements. Machining, screen printing and special colours are also available.
