LITTELFUSE, represented in Australia by Soanar , has released the new RoHS-compliant Square Nano and PICO II Fuse Series.
The Nano2 and PICO II fuses meet the requirements of the RoHS directive for the reduction of hazardous substances and are compatible with higher temperature reflow cycles.
The fuses offer the same performance specifications as existing Nano2 and Pico II fuses but replace all external lead surfaces with approved substances.
With the Nano2 product, Littelfuse has replaced the tin/lead metal finish on terminations with a gold finish on nickel-plated brass caps.
Previously the Pico II product had a 95/5 tin/lead metal finish, which has been replaced with 100% tin.
RoHS-compliant Nano2 fuses are surface mount fuses available in subminiature and miniature formats including very fast-acting, fast-acting, Slo-Blo (time delay), UMF, 250V UMF and surge resistant (Telecom Nano2 TeleLink telecom fuse) versions.
RoHS-compliant PICO II fuses are subminiature axial lead fuses available up to 250V in either very fast-acting, Time Lag or Slo-Blo (time delay) fuse versions.
