Right angle miniature push button switch
ITW Switches, represented in Australia by Soanar , has announced its new Series 100 switch - a low-cost, right angle miniature pushbutton switch for printed circuit board mount. The Series 100 right-angle pushbutton features momentary or self-lock (maintained) action, single or double pole, PCB terminals, and silver contacts. A wide variety of keycap styles and colours, even brushed metallic and chrome, is available.
These switches feature low operating force.
The Series 100 switch is suitable for high volume, low-cost applications, including toys, consumer electronics, telecom/datacom, test and measurement, audio, and medical applications.
Able to handle just under one ampere of current, the Series 100 is a member of ITW Switches' new ‘Flex-Tech’ low current product family.
Up to 800mA at 30Vdc, this new switch also features non-shorting contacts, low operating force, low initial contact resistance and full travel of just 0.14” (3.5mm). Travel lock is 0.10”(2.5mm).
