The RAILTEC DIN B rail cases

All types of RAILTEC DIN rail cases are installation friendly for mounting components as well as for subsequent connection works. These rail cases can be used for various applications ranging from automation, building and safety technology, heating and air conditioning technology to open and closed loop control technology to individual subracks.

The principle of the RAILTEC B installation case is based on short assembly times and a high degree of safety for the user. In accordance with the requirements of open and closed loop control technology and of plant and machine construction, this fully insulated, shockproof series of rail cases is suited to simple snap-in assembly on standard DIN EN 60 715 TH35 rails.

The housing dimensions follow DIN 43 880, size 1. There is a choice of six different installation widths such as 35mm for 2 modules, 52mm (3 modules), 70mm (4 modules), 105mm (6 modules), 157mm (9 modules) and a width of 210mm (12 modules). The heights of the modules are 86mm and 90mm with depths of 58/58.5mm. Different designs of the top parts make the cases a versatile and rational connection system such as commercially available components like terminal blocks or printed circuit board plug headers with a module size of 5.0/5.08. To achieve optimum heat dissipation in the integrated components, versions with integrated ventilation slots are available in the RAILTEC B range of cases.

The new version VI top part offers individual configuration with system-based components. Here, the user has an almost unlimited number of combination options such as various versions of low/high-profile terminal guards, partitions and front panels.

The RAILTEC B range is flexible in its equipment options as the printed circuit boards can be positioned in all three dimensions, depending on requirements. The snap-in clip pre-mounted in the lower part guarantees simple and quick assembly on DIN rails. This user-friendly assembly technique and the flush side panels make it possible to combine several cases. The versatile range of RAILTEC B cases is completed by a comprehensive range of accessories with transparent lids, a wall-suspension element, terminal blocks and matching plug headers.
