New version PCI modules available from Soanar

NextG/3G PCI modules

Sierra Wireless leads the way in design for NextG/3G modules for the M2M market.

The modules available from Soanar are designed to the PCI mini module format making for easy integration.

For the 3G / NextG markets there are two models available today ex stock Soanar:

MC8775V HSDPA tri-band PCI Express mini card offer peak download data rates of 7.2 Mbps.

(The voice (v) version offers simultaneous voice and data transmission capability and also includes on-board GPS).

MC8780 HSUPA tri-band PCI Express mini card offers uplink data rates up to 2.0 Mbps, and downlink data rates up to 7.2 Mbps. The MC8780 also offers receive diversity for improved fringe performance.

Both models offer connectivity to all three3G HSDPA/UMTS frequency bands (Telstra 850, 1900, 2100 MHz) and all four EDGE/GPRS bands (850, 900, 1800, and 1900 MHz) used worldwide.

Osram MultiLEDs available from Soanar (4-Dec-2008)
Osram Opto Semiconductors have launched two new MultiLEDs for different LED video displays, which are available from Soanar. The new MultiLED in the jet black package has been developed specially for high-resolution displays.

Soanar distribute Ceramos and Oslux LED from Osram (3-Dec-2008)
The new generation of Ceramos and Oslux LED flash products from Osram Opto Semiconductors, distributed by Soanar, are twice as bright as their predecessors. The brightest LED without a lens for flash photography is the Ceramos.

Harting’s crimp version HC 350 high voltage contacts available from Soanar (2-Dec-2008)
HARTING, distributed in Australia and New Zealand by Soanar - Electronic Component & Supply Chain Solutions, have extended the Han Connector product range, the HC 350 contact, which comes with a rating up to 350 Amps, 2Kv and 4Kv with an adaptor.

New Bus coupler for modular, decentralised LioN-Link System with PROFINET Interface available from Soanar (7-Nov-2008)
Lumberg Automation, represented in ANZ by Soanar, have developed a new bus coupler with PROFINET interface for the modular, decentralised LioN-Link system. This bus coupler has an integrated switch which enables PROFINET network wiring in PROFIBUS network line topology.

HARTING’s new range of telecom solutions for outdoor environments available from Soanar (6-Nov-2008)
HARTING, whose products are distributed in ANZ by Soanar, have extended the Han Connector product range that includes the integration of the standard LC fibre optic connectors both in single mode and multi mode. These products meet the demands set by harsh outdoor environments.
