Panasonic photoMOS relays from Soanar- Electronic Component & Supply Chain Solutions

Panasonic Electric Works' new AQV251G series high power photoMOS relays, available from Soanar - Electronic Component & Supply Chain Solutions enable wear-free, reliable switching of AC and DC low-voltage loads of up to 30V (peak) in small spaces. Features of the high power photoMOSrelays include:

  • The photoMOS relays have an output rating 30V / 3.5A
  • The relays offer I/O insulation 1.5kVrms
  • Insulation between input and output circuits
  • The photoMOS relays feature a low control current
  • Fast, contact-free and silent switching is featured on the photoMOS relays
  • Electrical characteristics are constant
  • Unlimited lifetime on the relays
  • Compact 6-pin DIP / SMD package
By employing modern MOSFET transistors for the output of the AQV251G photoMOS relays, it is possible to realize a typical ON-resistance of just 0,035Ω. Because there is negligible loss at the output, the maximum continuous load current at room temperature can be specified with a current of 3.5A.

Typical applications of the photoMOS relays include:

  • PhotoMOS relays are used in any areas that require an extremely long lifetime and constant electrical characteristics
  • These relays are used to realize maintenance-free PLC outputs
  • PhotoMOS relays are used in any industrial facilities
  • Due to their low ON-resistance, photoMOS realys are used in measurement technology
