Electrical contacts can be mixed with fluid/gas contacts or POF (Polymer Optical Fibres) ideal for transmitting light. The Fischer L.U.C. series can be mounted into a hand piece, onto a cable or overmolded cable.
It suits many disposable applications ranging from catheters to surgical hand tools. Mateable with high performance Fischer panel and cable receptacles, the L.U.C. disposable plug allows permanent equipment to keep working with high cycle lifetime receptacles.
The parts of L.U.C series are capable of withstanding EtO and Gamma sterilisation processes, conforming to the UL/IEC 60601 directives. The L.U.C series are engineered for easy integration of embedded electronics and are available in hybrid configurations. The Fischer L.U.C. series enhance the functionalities of disposable equipment.
