Fischer
Connectors, represented in ANZ by
Soanar , have improved the design of its Triax Connector.
The Fischer 1051 Triaxial Connector was launched in 1972. To further improve its user friendliness, the 1051 Series of Fischer Connectors has been redesigned.
Reliable and strong, the Fischer 1051 Triaxial Connector is used in studios and outside broadcasting.
Engineered to achieve better flexibility and ergonomics, the new design of the 1051 plug and cable receptacle facilitates quicker assembly, maintenance and cable installation.
Made of new material, the re-designed 1051 series is lighter but still retains its high strength. The parts that make up the 1051 have been optimised and their number reduced, so that the assembly process is simplified, requiring no specific tools.
When cabled, the new 1051 offers high versatility. Contact blocks are interchangeable, which simplifies maintenance. The internal hermaphroditic parts of the connector allow a rapid change between male or female genders or vice versa.
To protect the connection and increase the durability of the equipment, the cable bend relief has been integrated into the connector design. For time saving and greater flexibility, the optional protective sleeves are easily detachable even when the connector is cabled.
Accepting external cables diameter from 8.3 to 11.3mm, the new Fischer 1051 Triaxial Series is fully compatible with its preceding model.
