The tri-band MC8775 PCI Express Mini Card, available from
Soanar , built using the MSM6280 Mobile Station Modem chipset from QUALCOMM, offers download data rates of 3.6Mbps.
The MC8775 PCI Express Mini Card embedded module offers connectivity to all three HSDPA/UMTS frequency bands (850, 1900, 2100MHz) and all four EDGE/GPRS bands (850, 900, 1800 and 1900MHz) used worldwide, allowing seamless global roaming on the available network.
The voice enabled variant of the module, the MC8775V, offers simultaneous voice and data transmission capability, allowing data transmissions to continue even during voice calls.

Each module measures 51 x 30 x 4.5mm and weighs in at less than 12g and comply with new European Union directives on RoHS (Restrictions on Hazardous Substances).
