SOANAR’S 4-port USB 2.0 hub controller, the µPD720114, is USB 2.0 complaint and suitable for ‘ecological solutions’. This controller comes in a small package and integrates the 2.5V internal voltage regulator for core logic, termination resistances and reduces the number of external components needed.
It enables shrinking the BOM (Bill of Materials) for the board design. Also, the controller's power consumption is greatly reduced when the hub is active or in standby mode through ‘power saving technology’ implementation.
The hub controller has 4 down stream-facing port (maximum) and LED port status indicators. It is suitable for the USB boxed hub, monitors, port replicater and many applications for PC.
