3M 381 series LINK hermaphroditic and 382 LINK PCB connectors available from Soanar

3M link connectors can be used in CC-Link/LT industrial automation field network applications. 381 series LINK hermaphroditic and 382 LINK PCB connectors have the following advantages:

• Hermaphroditic four-point contact mating structure reduces the number of components required to interconnect and ensures a reliable connection.
• Available in wire mount 381 series and right angle PCB mount 382 series.
• Easy, labour-saving and reliable IDC termination without wire preparation.
• No stripping, tinning or tooling. Users can terminate wires with common pliers, allowing easy field termination.
• T-Tap termination enables mid-cable terminations without preparation or handling of the cable or wires in order to interconnect field bus and power lines at any point.
• Design accepts multiple wire diameters of 1.8 to 2.54mm (0.071 to 0.100”), conductor sizes of 18 and 20AWG (0.50 to 0.75mm2) and discrete wire or flat ribbon cable on 2.54mm (0.100”) pitch.
• Colour coded for easy identification.
• 5Amp/160V maximum current carrying capability per contact with all four contacts operating.
