The CBU series of din rail mount dc backup / UPS units integrate the function of a battery charger which can be programmed to be single step or multistep, combined with a power supply, battery management and alarms.
The CBU series din rail mount dc backup / UPS units offer numerous features including:

The CBU series of Din rail mount DC UPS units has been developed specifically to satisfy a wide range of applications, in particular to provide an all in one DC backup solution. Each CBU unit performs three functions in one : 1- DC Power Supply , 2-DC Battery Charger and 3 as a Backup DC UPS unit with alarms.
The CBU Series of DC UPS units are used in numerous applications in a range of industries such as PLC control systems, security door opening , alarm systems , emergency telephones , lift controls , waterworks pumping stations , remote monitoring of environmental parameters and emergency lighting.
The CBU series of DC UPS units can be mounted on a 35mm din rail and there are options for temperature compensation, voltage compensation and remote monitoring panels to assist in using these units in customer applications. Protection against battery reverse polarity as well as short circuit and overload protection are provided by the advanced design. The battery management features allow charging of batteries in various states and at the same time protection against battery deep discharge.
