SITEST has released the Eutech pH/ORP 24-hour field monitors. The pH FM1 & ORP FM1 monitors provide a high level of sophistication with advanced features, and yet maintain a user-friendly interface. The monitors meet the requirements for continuous monitoring.
Calibration is screwdriver free, quick and easy. Automatic pH buffer recognition minimises calibration error if incorrect buffers are used.
Three point push button calibration at buffer values of 4, 7 and 10 gives you up to 0.1pH accuracy across acid and alkali range. ORP monitor calibration to a known standard is done using increment/decrement keys. Offset adjustment up to 150mV is possible.
The monitor is lightweight and designed to hang easily on any flat surface like a wall, glass tank, on a container, almost anywhere. The bright LED ensures reading can be seen from a distance even in the dark. A polymer float is provided as standard accessory to make electrode installation easy.
Unlike conventional electrodes, the rugged epoxy body electrodes, included with the monitors, have a polymer gel which is non-degradable and resistant to bacterial and fungal attack. In addition, the double-junction electrodes have the reference element isolated within a second chamber, minimising contamination, making it longer lasting than most electrodes.
Suitable for any situation where 24 hour monitoring is necessary, it can be used in aquariums, fish farms, swimming pools, agriculture, hydroponics, drinking water and other simple processes.
Eutech Instruments warrants its monitors free from manufacturing defects for two years and electrodes for six months.
