SIOUX Professional Power Tools has released a range of Z-handled, air-driven drills.
The design uses a spur and bevel gear-train to set the drilling axis at 45° to the handle. This combined with a side-to-centre measurement of only 25mm makes for easy drilling in spaces and at angles that conventional drills would find difficult or impossible to reach.
Double insulated, the Z-handle Sioux drills come in over a dozen models up to 0.37kW in non-reversibles and 0.25kW in reversibles, with free speed ranging from 1000rpm to 5000rpm.
Chuck capacity is either 6mm or 10mm. All models come with lever start, 360° rotatable exhaust, safety and instruction manuals, 3-jaw chuck, key and suspension bail. All weigh just 1.2kg and consume 8L/s of air.
