Accreditation increases Signet workplace safety

Being safe at work is everyone’s responsibility no matter your department or job title – this safety can include identifying and controlling health and safety risks, decreasing the potential for accidents, complying with relevant legislation and being conscious of your own habits.

Signet is now increasing its safety credentials following its OHSAS 18001 accreditation - an international standard for health and safety management system.

Together with a dedicated QOHSE department, Signet puts health and safety first both in product manufacturing and the day-to-day processes of all employees and visitors.

Widely regarded as the world’s most recognised health and safety management program, the OHSAS 18001 accreditation, Signet says this accreditation displays a "commitment to the reduction and ideal elimination of workplace accidents and injury.

"This management program consists of identifying and controlling health and safety risks, reducing the potential for accidents, aiding legislative compliance and improving overall performance."

It went on to state that "the accreditation provides reassurance that as a growing company, Signet is always being held accountable and trying to continuously improve processes".

Following the recognition Signet has continued to focus on its processes, providing a wide range of protective wear, safety equipment, site safety items, signs, first aid and healthcare products.
