Signature Security Group sponsored a vintage Fire Truck which completed a successful 2007 Variety Bash from Thames in the Coromandel to the top of New Zealand and finishing in Waitangi.
Signature Security Group helped raise a total in excess of $340,000 for needy children.
Some highlights of the week included:
An attempt at the Guinness Book of Records as the large water fight; 1,173 people were needed to break the record but numbers fell short of this total. However the water fight continued and was a lot of fun
The opening of a Liberty Swing donated by Variety Club at Whangarei; the swing was valued at $36,000 and is designed to take children in wheelchairs
Again in Whangarei, the gifting of a Variety Sunshine Coach for the Teen Parents School
Carrying famous singer John Paul Young in the Fire Truck for a day; he was reported to be a great company
The driver, Gavin Roberts, personally received an award for 15 years service to the Variety Club
