New machine features, changing demands at the mounting location, new processes and procedures – sens:Control adapts to innovative developments in the most varied of sectors and areas of application.
The latest example is the Flexi Soft safety controller for monitoring tactile and non-contact safety sensors. It will be positioned between relay and network technology controller environments and offer flexibly combinable function blocks, compact housings in every end-configuration, software-supported logic functions and expanded opportunities for fieldbus integration.
Based on modules with a width of 22.5mm, the platform concept will permit an individual and flexible design of the particular safety solution up to and including safety category 4 according to EN 954-1, or for applications up to performance level e in compliance with ISO 13849-1, and SIL3 according to IEC 62061.
