RE series reed switches

The new reed switches of the RE series from SICK are the ideal choice for protecting mechanical guards on machines and plant.

Whether for hoods, doors or flaps – neither vibrations, imprecise mounting, or demanding requirements regarding resistance in harsh environments impair reliable function.

Packaging machines, panel separators, printing and pre-assembly machines are just some of the types of machinery whose access areas are often protected by hoods, flaps or doors.

RE11, RE21 and RE31 magnetic safety switches are the ideal solution for reliable monitoring of these protective components, because they master tolerances in door mountings and machine openings, are immune to harsh operating conditions, and are friction- and maintenance-free.

As a result, they not only offer safety up to Performance Level ”e”, but also ensure high plant availability and process reliability.
