The INOX series of inductive sensors, from Sick , offers many features and strong resistance to cleaning in harsh environments.
With full V4A 1.4404 (316L) stainless steel housings, triple sensing ranges and minimal de-rating factors, the INOX series of inductive sensors is designed to work where normal sensors fail.
The INOX series of inductive sensors have been designed to provide a solution to many of the common problems associated with using inductive sensors in extreme environments.
The sensing face is integrated into the tough single front piece V4A stainless steel housing. This strength, combined with the triple sensing distances, mean the units can be used in applications where mechanical damage destroys normal sensors.
The INOX series of inductive sensors has minimum de-rating factors to metals such as brass and aluminium, enabling greater clearances when sensing these materials.
The INOX series of inductive sensors also incorporates LED indication when the sensor is reaching its maximum sensing distance to assist both with installation and in operation.
With an operational temperature range of from -25°C to +85°C and an enclosure rating of IP68 and IP69K, the INOX series inductive sensors is suitable for use in harsh food and beverage industry environment.
The INOX series of inductive sensors covers 12mm, 18mm and 30mm housing units, in both flush and non flush versions and with sensing distances up to 40mm.
The INOX series of inductive sensors were designed to work in applications where acidic and alkaline detergents and disinfectants are used in the cleaning process.
