ES21 series emergency stop buttons

SICK  has further expanded its product portfolio with the emergency stop buttons of the ES21 series.

The emergency stop buttons comply with the relevant EN ISO 13850 (EN418) and EN 60947-5-5 standards, are tamper-proof and can be integrated in a machine control panel or directly mounted on a machine using a housing.

Packaging machines, processing centres, conveyor systems – emergency stop buttons are a must for automated machines and plants.

In an emergency, anyone pressing the button immediately puts a machine or plant in a safe state by stopping the hazardous movement. Emergency stop buttons are therefore an important component in overall safety solutions.

Numerous variants
ES21 emergency stop buttons are available as mounted or built-in versions, each of which have an installation diameter of just 22 mm.

Moreover, the contact blocks offer a variety of wiring options while ensuring correct device connection. An additional contact element in the built-in versions monitors the safe connection between the emergency stop button and the switching contact.

Variants with integrated LED ring illumination are available, as are devices with a protective collar against unintentional use.

Emergency stop buttons must latch on use – the ES21 series offers solutions with a key or rotary button for releasing the interlock.
