The high level safety barrier available from Sherwood Design & Engineering is designed to provide permanent and continuous protection for personnel engaged in loading or unloading goods at higher levels above the ground. Once installed, the high level safety barrier can be used by the operator to gain access to the load or goods. The high level safety barriers provided by Sherwood Design & Engineering are designed to accommodate pallet lifters.
Sherwood Design & Engineering’s SP high level safety barrier is suitable for handling wider or higher loads Sherwood Design & Engineering’s high level safety barrier is available in the form of a swinging gate which revolves about a horizontal axis between two fixed pivot points. The standard high level safety barrier swings through an arc of 180 degrees while the SP high level safety barrier swings through an arc of 90 degrees between the two extreme stationery positions.
The high level safety barrier available from Sherwood Design & Engineering can be designed taking into consideration varying site conditions, height and width of load, head clearance and other variables. The Duragal galvanised tube is used for making high level safety barrier and all the guard railings in the barrier comply with the AS1657 standards.
Sherwood Design & Engineering’s standard high level safety barrier includes tension spring at each pivot point which provides a rotational assisting moment facilitating easy manual operation.
