Australian precision manufacturing specialist Sevaan Group Pty Ltd continues its ascent on the local and international market through re-investment rather than scaling back of machinery.
Sevaan Group’s has added a 220 tonne Amada bender to its range, opening up more opportunities across the industry spectrum for high tolerance bending of plate steel ranging in thickness from 1mm to 25mm. This service finds application in all industries including mining, rail, agriculture, general engineering, defence, sheet metal, public works, and energy.
The 220t bender also adds even more collateral to Sevaan’s drive to include as many skill sets and fabrication services in-house, when most competitors are divesting in favour of outsourcing.
Sevaan Group CEO Mr Tony Panrucker believes having as many services in-house is highly critical to keeping down costs and timeframes for clients. Mr Panrucker explains their in-house capabilities take extra steps out of the equation, be it for new items or manufactured components for replacement purposes.
The new Amada 220t bender is highly automated, accurate and fast, allowing the company to take on jobs for production runs or one-off orders. The machine can be programmed in the office, translating into lower set-up cost, elimination of trial and error, and ultimately a reduction of costs for clients.
Sevaan Group currently operates a highly integrated fabrication business encompassing an in-house paint and powder coating facility, a robotic welding bay, spot welding facilities, software specialists, technically qualified staff and a newly commissioned grit blasting centre with in-built enviro waste sorter.
