Time-sensitive visitor badges
After a 24-hour period, the badges display the bold wording "Expired" with red diagonal stripes across their front. This prevents misuse of temporary ID badges to regain plant access.
The new badges make use of a migratory ink technology, which, upon activation, starts a 24-hour process resulting in the bold "EXPIRED" appearing on the front on the badge.
To activate the cards, simply peel off and apply the card to a badge clip. The badges work indoors or out, day or night, and require no hardware or electronics for activation.
They are available with preprinted headers of Visitor, Contractor, or Temporary. Once the front part of the badge is applied to the back part, expiration begins and cannot be reversed.
The ONEstep TIMEbadge makes short-term visitor badging a breeze because it is pre-assembled. As with the two-part badge, red lines appear invalidating the pass after 24 hours.
