IDXPERT handheld labeller

BRADY Australia Pty Ltd (Seton ) has introduced a versatile portable labelling system, the IDXPERT Handheld Labeller.

IDXPERT can print die-cut labels, self-laminating labels and sleeves plus continuous tapes.

It is designed to meet the specific identification needs of maintenance, safety, electrical and voice/data communications experts.

This on-demand printer is available in two convenient keyboard layouts: ABC keyboard and standard QWERTY keyboard style. This provides the professional user with more than 100 labelling options.

The IDXPERT is the first handheld cartridge based labelling system that can print die-cut labels, self-laminating labels and heat shrink sleeves as well as continuous tapes, according to Brady Australia.

The IDXPERT prints characters up to 31mm, on label stock up to 38mm wide.

It can also print text as small as 7-point, in addition to bar codes and more than 80 industrial symbols as well as symbols for electrical, voice/data, safety and warning applications.

The memory can store frequently used labels and all IDXPERT material is contained in a Drop, Lock and Go Smart Cartridge that saves time.

Cartridges are pre-calibrated electronically to orient the label to the end-user's specifications.

Brady has a wide range of label materials that work together perfectly with the IDXPERT labeller. They include heat shrink wire and cable marker sleeves (Permasleeve), self-laminating wire markers, terminal block markers, patch panel, outlet and faceplate markers and specialty labels.

Except for the keyboard styles, the two printers are identical in functionality and run on six AA-batteries or optional ac plug-in.

The IDXPERT comes with 38.1mm X 9.14m white supply cartridge, durable hard carry case, PC cable for upgrades and a product CD containing user's guides and tutorials.

The IDXPERT was developed for professionals who need the toughest materials and the perfect type of labels to suit their varied jobs.
