Workholding with new magnetic clamping system


TECNOMAGNETE, represented in Australia by Serpent and Dove , has released Quadsystem, allowing steel workpieces of all sizes to be accurately and rigidly secured magnetically for machining in the vertical or horizontal plane.


Casting being machined while clamped horizontally.

A permanent electro-magnet concentrates all the holding force where it is needed.

It has a solid block construction suitable for face milling and lateral drilling, for milling multiples of parts, boring and contouring.

Irregular or curved surfaces can be accommodated with moving pole extensions.
