SEPTONE Products has released Multiguard HP -- an advanced lubricant that is part of the new EcoLube range of environmentally friendly lanolin-based coatings.
According to Septone national sales manager Rob O'Neill, there are many lanolin-based products on the market, all designed as entry level products, to offer a basic level of performance.
"Septone didn't want to release another 'me too' product into the market. We wanted to offer users a much greater level of performance.
"To achieve this aim we have not only used the best Australian lanolin, but we have incorporated special extreme pressure (EP) and anti-wear additives. This gives Multiguard HP very high performance in terms of lubrication, penetration and moisture dispersal," Mr O'Neill said.
"To confirm we have developed the right product for industry we've invested extensively in independent laboratory testing. Our result on the Falex Test was 1750 lbs pressure, 3-1/2 times greater than other lanolin based products."
Multiguard HP can be used wherever an operation is using a petroleum lubricant. Multiguard HP is available as an aerosol, sprayable bulk liquid, or in grease form.
