Sensortechnics GmbH now offers custom piezoresistive digital pressure sensors for pressure sensing applications that are particularly demanding, such as in medical and instrumentation devices.
These digital pressure sensors have very high resolutions and accuracy, and are available from 2.5mbar full scale.
They feature high quality, low noise amplifiers and subsequent 24bit A/D converters, ensuring high resolution digital signals are produced that are comparable to analog signals, in addition to high signal-to-noise rations.
The pressure sensors utilise a microcontroller which allows correction algorithms for temperature compensation and linearisation to be programmed flexibly. High accuracies are thus achieved, with a typical total error band of 0.1%, and fast response times of up to 250µs.
Important features of these microcontroller-based custom digital pressure sensors include:
- pressure ranges from 2.5 mbar full scale
