The Zareba range provides easy to use and affordable flammable, toxic and oxygen gas monitoring solutions that can be created by users selecting the most appropriate sensors and controllers for their application.
As a result they can meet relevant safety requirements quickly and easily without incurring unnecessary costs.
For industrial environments such as wastewater treatment facilities and power plants users can select from a series of sensors that range from a simple sensor to a sophisticated transmitter with programmable alarm relays and 4-20mA output.
The weatherproof units are operational in and out of doors and provide reliable protection against flammable, toxic and oxygen gas hazards, in potentially explosive atmospheres in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA guidelines.
All necessary accessories are included so there are no additional equipment costs and only one-man operation is required, keeping operational investment to a minimum.
Zareba controllers can be used stand-alone or as part of a larger distributed control system. They can monitor gas hazards in a large area or several discreet locations from a convenient central site.
Driven from ac and/or dc supplies the units are self-contained, wall-mounted, with ultra-clear backlit display. All have an intuitive menu system and simple push-button operation.
For commercial environments such as car parks, municipal buildings and retail facilities Zareba offers a fully programmable, addressable gas detection system that can be easily customized to specific site needs.
Ac operated, it enables the user to install up to 250 detectors per system over two kilometres without the need for booster power supplies, thereby simplifying specification and installation and reducing equipment costs. All necessary accessories are included such as vandal proof guard, junction boxes and mounting base.
The controller offers fully programmable system relays, grouping, zoning and voting functions and an on/off delay for easy customisation. It can be easily integrated into HVAC control systems through relays or RS485 Modbus or used as a standalone for small-to-medium systems ensuring appropriate safety precautions are in place.
