CAMA's new robot, the Triaflex, available from Select Packaging Systems , is a custom made robot that was showcased at Interpack 2008.
The Triaflex robot can reach speeds of up to 150 cycles per minute, with the capability to function on a single or double line tracking systems and carry out tasks which are complicated technically, such as managing and loading products on continuous motion machines.
The Triaflex robot is equipped with four controlled axes with carbon fibre arms designed for gripping or placing products into position.
The Triaflex robot can be used for loading moving flow packs into a horizontal cartoning machine. Using the 360° head rotation, the Triaflex robot picks random products from the production line belt and positions them correctly in a packaging machine.
According to CAMA, the Triaflex robot is suitable for simplifying product handling along a production line, from supplying to loading.
CAMA design and develop their line of robots entirely in house. CAMA have a range of robotised and automated systems that are integrated with a vast array of packaging machines. CAMA observe that their robots are created to be integrated within their packaging systems.
