Sift through sealing equipment
SEALING Systems will release a sift-proof sealer at AUSPACK that is said to be cleaner, more accurate and more reliable than slotdie pattern sealing equipment.
This means it can be manufactured at a fraction of the cost of conventional sift-proof sealers.
By delivering a series of beads of adhesive, the sift-proof sealer tolerates more variability in the positioning of carton flaps, has a larger orifice that is less likely to block, and does not result in messy strings of adhesive.
Also featured will be an automatic pattern controller to suit folder gluers and all kinds of carton converting machinery.
The controller ensures adhesive is deposited in precise patterns and volumes irrespective of line speed, optimising the use of materials.
The stand will also feature onserting adhesive applicators for the publishing industry; the Thumbgun system for the easy manual gluing of components; and a hot melt twirl gun for peel and stick applications like envelopes and pressure-sensitive cartons.
