SCITECH provides pre-project feasibility studies for all potential clients. The vision system is programmed and installed to the client's specifications. The out of the box Machine Vision hardware and software is also available to be purchased from SciTech for clients who have the expertise in programming the equipment.

The main developments SciTech will be releasing at are the high-performance In-Sight 5410 and the high-resolution In-Sight 5411, two new powerful code readers for reading 1D and 2D codes marked on parts, packages or labels.

Also featured will be the new Checker 101, a simple-to-use and inexpensive sensor that can visually detect the presence of items during the manufacturing process.

The In-Sight 5410, the In-Sight 5411 and the Checker101 are designed for use in segments such as automotive, electronics, medical, pharmaceutical, consumer products, food, beverage, and aerospace industries.

Working models of the Insight 5410 and Checker 101 will be demonstrated. The devices will be pre-configured for specific examples, but can be altered to simulate visitor requests.

SciTech is the exclusive partner integrator for the Cognex range of machine vision systems, vision sensors, and industrial ID readers. The company has two employees who were trained on Cognex systems in the USA and UK. Both will be available for discussion at AUSTECH.

Scitech is at stand E67 in the Austech Pavilion at National Manufacturing Week 2005, in Melbourne, May 10-13.
