The new Retiga-SRV digital camera combines higher sensitivity with OLED technology in a sleek package for quantitative, low-light fluorescence microscopy.
Retiga-SRV utilises superior engineering and packaging to deliver quantitative imaging capability with ease and simplicity. The Retiga-SRV is the first camera to introduce iGlo technology, an OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) on the camera offering easy and immediate viewing of camera information, such as exposure time, spatial binning, bit-depth and temperature. With the use of OLED technology and the smallest vacuum chamber for deeper cooling, the QImaging Retiga-SRV demonstrates a successful combination of world class engineering and design.
Retiga-SRV provides 1.4 million pixels combined with regulated cooling to -30°C for high sensitivity imaging in low-light level applications. The introduction of this camera with an IEEE 1394b (FireWire 800) interface promotes QImaging’s plug-n-play philosophy of easy installation and operation through a single cable between the camera and the computer.
Every Retiga-SRV camera ships with software that enables real-time image preview and capture for both Microsoft Windows and Mac OS-based systems. The new cameras can be used to acquire high-resolution still images for quantitative applications, including live cell fluorescence imaging, quantitative FRET, ratio imaging, whole animal fluorescence, FRAP, FISH, and many more.
