SCITECH has announced the release of the Retiga 1300R digital camera from QImaging. This camera is an upgrade of the successful Retiga 1300i, providing higher quantum efficiency.
Higher QE results in high sensitivity, ideal for demanding low light and fluorescence imaging applications.
Available in monochrome, cooled or non-cooled, the Retiga 1300R provides 1.34 million pixels in a 12-bit digital output. This output produces high quality images for brightfield, dark-field, fluorescence and many other applications.
With an IEEE 1394 FireWire digital interface the Retiga 1300R is easy to install requiring a single wire to connect the camera to a computer or laptop, eliminating the expense, installation problems and inconveniences associated with framegrabbers and bulky external power supplies.
Retiga 1300R cameras ship with software for real time image preview and capture for both Microsoft Windows and Mac OS based systems.
The cameras are used to produce high resolution still images for quantitative analysis in Metallurgical microscopy, semiconductor inspection, manufacturing quality control, failure analysis and forensic analysis.
