KSV, through Scientific Solutions , has released an Ellipsometer cell accessory for their QCM-Z500 Quartz Crystal Microbalance (QCM).
The modular nature of the KSV QCM allows a variety of cells to be used with the basic electronics module including a standard flow through cell, a microscope capable small volume window cell (also flow through), a new electrochemical cell and an open beaker cell for work with LB systems or pilot process plants.
The new Ellipsometer cell will open new windows on thin film measurements in real time and provide concurrent data from the Ellipsometer and QCM cell.
The cell is easily mounted on the Ellipsometer stage, with a front and rear window providing clear passage for the Ellipsometer beam.
The Ellipsometer cell is used as an accessory to the microscopic window cell, thereby providing two accessories in a single package, consistent with KSV's modular approach.
