Schaffer Loaders is a manufacturer of a range of strong, highly manoeuvrable front end loaders that are proving to be popular with a wide range of buyers, including local councils, mining, sand and soil yards, mining, contractors, farmers, beef-feed lots piggeries, landscape gardeners and plant nurseries.
Schaffer Loaders have been importing the front end loaders for three years into Australia.
Agents have been established in Western Australia, Brisbane, Toowoomba and Victoria and an arrangement has been reached with Digga for it to make attachments such as augers, trenchers, sweepers, pallet forks and with norm engineering to make a variety of heavy duty buckets to suit local conditions.
Ralf Bartholome has spent around two weeks in Australia, visiting distributors and attending field days, including the Dowerin Field Days in WA from August 29 to 31, 2006.
Bartholome says he has made the trip to get a better idea about the special requirements of the Australian market for front end loaders.
His Australian trip, from August 21 to September 10, also included visits to the Toowoomba Agricultural Show, Queensland, from September 5 to 7, as well as visits to customers in WA and Queensland.
All the front end loaders have a heavy duty construction, while their compact form provides good manoeuvrability.
Stability, safety and strength are some of the main features of Schaffer front end loaders. Their narrow mast provides good visibility for the driver. And they are easy to operate, with all of the mast functions on a single joystick.
Schaffer articulated loaders are available to suit many different applications, with horsepower ranging from 20hp to 130hp. They are particularly suited to materials handling on construction sites or quarries.
With four-wheel drive, loads of torque and a long wheel base, the loaders can handle sandy or boggy conditions.
The compact, heavy duty construction also makes it ideal for general clean-up work on mine sites such as under conveyor belts or as an integrated tool carrier with plenty of grunt to assist with all tasks.
In swimming pool construction, it has plenty of torque to move up ramps, while its narrow build is an asset in drainage work.
